Someone Won't Let Me Die

It's kind of funny how life works out.

Yesterday something neat happened, but first I need to give a background story.

A few weeks ago or so, a guy was on trying to get on the bus on my morning ride to school. He only had a dollar, and for some reason, he couldn't let go of it. I had enough change to make change, but I guess he mistakenly thought I was giving him a quarter! He had a quarter as well. So he took my quarter, said thank you, and paid the fair. Oh well!

Then about a week ago, when I was going home from Torg, two girls were getting on the bus. It was raining.  One realized she completely left her Hokie passport in her room. I don't know where they were going, but I had enough change for the bus fair. Another four bits down the drain! Oh well.

Then when walking to Heather's room to meet her to go get ice cream, I saw something shining on the ground. At first I found one quarter. Then I found another. Then another. Then one more! I had found the three quarters that I lost, and gained one.

I laughed. It's kind of funny how money finds its way back to me. When Heather and I went for ice cream, she needed to borrow three quarters. Oh well! Easy come, easy go.
