Today I met with Sherley Codio so that we could plan, a bit more, for this year's Women in Computing Day! We've got a lot of people coming so far, at least 45 (and some of the bigger schools have not responded with an exact number yet). Next year, we'll either have limit the number each school can send, or change our location. There's just no way to keep increasing our numbers, while keeping the same venue AND keeping every one safe. I'm excited about announcing our first Annual T-shirt design contest! I think it would be really cool to see the girl's artwork on the shirts. (Which need a good t-shirt print shop...and by good I mean inexpensive! T-shirts ate up at least half of last years budget...)
Now we've got to work out the activities, and the majority of our planning should be set! On to Tuesday!
