Happy Birthday!

Seven days pass like a blink, and I have yet to post anything new. I will keep trying harder to be a more regular writer.

Today is my birthday. It's strange thinking there's almost three decades worth of stuff that I can talk about. What worries me is the typical life span of a human. Time is flying by so quickly. One day blurs into the next day until years have gone by. I don't notice the time, but it adds up. I have anywhere from 40 to 60 more years if I'm lucky. Maybe 70, but that's really pushing it. I like to think about getting old and living as an old person. Will I still like computers? Is someone going to be there to take care of me? How many random skills will I have accumulated by then?

I hope that people keep eating meat, or at least pork, until I die. That way, there will always be a way to get my thyroid supplements. That's something that I worry about. I don't care for taking the synthetic version of the hormone (well, one of the hormones) nor seeing a doctor. I really feel like they could care less about me (especially true when they care more about my "numbers.") I might have more health problems in the future, but if this is all that I get, I am happy with that.

My birthday was especially good this year. I wonder if I used up all my luck on one day! I got a free balloon and pizza. I played games. My lectures were interesting. My friends, Anamary and Ash, came to hang out with me. I ate a crepe and drank some milk tea. I got my bugs. I met this entomologist, Nancy, and she showed me her bees! My friend, Kelly, bought me a cupcake. (Which I'm supposed to go get today.) I got to talk to my friends, Si and Anna, and I my parents finally remembered it was my birthday. Then there were all the people on facebook that wished me happy birthday! It was a really good day.

But today I find myself slightly worn out. It's not even nine yet, and I want to go to bed. I'm really sleepy and tired. I have two classes that I am determined to go to: Vector Geometry (recitation) and Social Psychology. I also need to go see Kelly, but she hasn't written me yet. Then there's a ton of stuff to study. I'm sufficiently busy, but underfunded!

I have a pile of books I really want to read. Three hours. I want at least that much time a day to read. I will try for three hours today!

Also, while I don't have to go to the math emporium to take my quizzes, I feel like it might not be a bad idea to go to the empo to get fit. There is an indoor walking course at the mall. The blue trail takes seven loops to a mile. I'd like to be able to do a couple of laps every other day. Now that I have more energy, I would like to be a bit more active! (It's good for the brain too!) I might go today before Social psych.

I wish I could get my picture mail to work with Blogger... It's really a pain to upload pictures separately, especially from my phone. While I have a micro usb cable to charge my phone with, the phone doesn't recognize it...so I can't send data through. Oh well! I will try bringing my eeepc to school more often. That way I can just blog on the spot. I think that will work out the best! I can always add the pictures later.

It's only 9 and I'm really hungry. Corn pops and bananas sound good!

Well, there was some other stuff that happened throughout the week, but I'm tired and hungry and I will write more later.
