Thyroid plan of attack!

After doing some more research, I've come across an interesting bit of information.

Basically it goes something like this:

Anti-thyroid antibodies can throw off thyroid tests.

Monitoring symptoms can be as simple as keeping track of body temp throughout the day. (Makes sense from metabolic p.o.v.)

Armor is pretty inexpensive, but I need to find a doctor that is willing to prescribe it to me. For now I can get raw thyroid and adrenal glands, but I'm not sure how effective they are at the moment. I take the thyroid, but lately I've been having to take a bit more. Increasing the dosage may be a mistake in light of the adrenal gland thing. (This is why it's important to have a good working theory; it's easier to design meaningful experiments.w)

I can order the antibody test online.

There seems to be an important connection between adrenal function and thyroid levels for optimal health.

It will be fun to construct a graph of my temperature to see what's going on. Usually, I run a bit colder than "normal" temperature range. So I will also do a chart of how I am feeling to see if there's a meaningful correlation between body temperature and mood. (Causation can come afterward.)

Science is fun. Now I just have to raise the money for the initial tests. I have been diagnosed with Graves Disease, and there seems to be an auto immune component to it. I just don't know how the doctors know. ie. Did they run the antibody lab already, or did they go by "classic" symptoms?

The temperature graphs can still be meaninful even without knowing for sure.

Ah, well, it's bed time now. Tomorrow, I can start collecting data.
